Other than the WI FI being an horrendous experience, everything else was good. The staff is very friendly . We were surprised how smooth the disembarkation process went. In the past, we were herded into lounges and had to wait a long time to be called.

I enjoyed the cruise and activities and would highly recommend it to others. I would even consider doing it again some time in the future. Just would need to remember to take a few more warmer clothing options.

Alaska is beautiful and seeing it via a cruise is a great way to explore some of the different parts of Alaska! The food was good, but can get boring after a few days. The entertainment/shows were great, but some of the onboard activities for kids/families could be improved. Overall service was good! 

Service, cleanness, crew, sites, Glacier Bay experience in general the whole cruise. We seen a lot of wildlife IE: whales, seals, otters, eagles, dolphins, bears, no moose though! Food was great a lot of choices. Entertainment was the best we seen for a long time. Casino's were cheap not enough payouts!

Loved the talented entertainers, The Pearl Showband, and the on board activities (trivia contests).  The excursions we took were very enjoyable, the tram in Juneau to Mt. Roberts and the train in Skagway.

I did  not like the Buffet , the food was really salty or over or undercooked , the specalty restaurants are really good, 

I also missed some communication , we where never infromed wich deck are we getting off or when we have to come back you had to asked .

My favorite part of the cruise was the Variety Show and Glazier bay. The staff was excellent.

The buffet dining was not good. The food lack variety and was not season well. The ice cream and cake was delicious. The charge for drinks were over expensive.

The internet package we purchased onboard was expensive and did not work 90% of the time. The amount of internet time purchased was used without us ever getting online. I did not like the daily $13.99 charge for each passenger for the cruise staff. The gratuity or service charge was already included with our purchases, food (specialty restaurants), drinks and spa service. Why add additional charge? I think the passenger should decide how they want to tip the staff.

I think the onboard pictures were too expensive. The passengers should have the option to purchase the pictures they like 1 or more at a reasonable cost..

Overall, with cost paid for the cruise, which is expensive, there were trump up cost to add to the passenger expense/cost.

Highly recommended cruise. 

Really worth the money. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly on our entire trips. Menu restaurant in INDIGO and SUMMER palace was not to the par and standard of the restaurant.  Asian or Chinese food choice was very poor  especially in Lotus restaurant. With the current trend of high Asian Chinese travelers, highly recommended for better choice of Chinese food

Excellent Cruise to Alaska!!! Fulfilled one of the items on my bucket list! Loved Glacier Bay and White Pass train ride! The staff were All amazing! Loved the "Washy Washy Happy Happy" Singing each morning at breakfast by the Filipino staff!

Our fav part was our Room Steward Christian , he treated my elderly mom like a Queen, she is still talking about it.my least fav not enough in the afternoon to do we were board with the trivia, name the tune ect... why not try cooking classes or social stuff for 50 and older. and Bingo is great but $39. to play WHAT to expensive.and just turning on the lights in the lounge at 11 when everyone is having so much fun was a REAL DOWNER if we are having fun keep it going 70's night was amazing but ended to ABRUPTLY "WOW" what a DOWNER.

The sites were wonderful.  I was very unhappy with my treatment on the Norwegian cruise line.  I am telling everyone not to cruise with them but Alaska is great.  I have a handicap of my left arm is paralyzed and the treatment I received by the staff while boarding almost brought me to tears. then while going to excursions I was treated very hateful for asking where to go other than a big meeting room as I didn't want to miss my excursion.

It's difficult to mention only one favorite, when we really enjoyed all our excursions at each port of call. We loved seeing the humpback and orca whales, the glaciers, the fjords, the waterfalls and cruising Glacier Bay. Not to mention the shopping,

Everyone was so friendly and we really loved the freestyle relaxed atmosphere with NCL. The food was really good in the buffet where we mostly ate but we enjoyed Sheehans availability late night. Junaeu excursions had issues so we missed the city, we didn't  want that to happen in Skagway so we wanted to cancel an excursion. At first they said no only if they could find a buyer, it was past the cancellation deadline. We skipped the excursion anyway and when we were ready to finalize they refunded our money. Made the experience even better knowing they cared about our expectations. Our stateroom attendant Newman, was great, loved my towel critters. 

1.The favorite part was Free Style dining and Ultimate Beverage Package, and the Shows

2. Education of the crew, English language, and too much trying to be friendly atmoshere was annoying. 

3. Public announcement system needs improvement

We loved the ports and the staff was very friendly and the entertainment was excellent.  Food in the main dining room needs improvement.  Some areas of the ship need upgrading.

An awe inspiring experience with scenic unique views of Alaska.  The great part of the cruise is visiting ports that take you back to a times of the gold rush and the new frontier.  The best part of the trip was visiting glacier bay national park and getting an up close glimpse of the impacts of the ice age, global warming, and the power and strength of mother nature.  The only critique I can make on the cruise is that even with the renovation, the ship still looked a little dated, but the friendliness of the staff definitely overcompensated for that issue.  A great experience overall.

The ship was clean and beautiful from inside. The food was very good. We were very happy eating at specialty restaurant. We had three nights of dining included in our package. Worked out great.

If you are booking a Ocean view room, please be careful. Some views are only partially open and mostly obstructed by some horrible looking structures. Do not book a ocean view, it is going to make you cry. We had one of those rooms. Talked to customer service and they gave us a run around. Actually, when it comes to customer service, it seemed that they had lack of training and one hand did not know what was the other hand doing. 

The cruise staff was very friendly and made everyone feel at home. The scenery was spectacular throughout the entire cruise I never wanted to be in my room because I didn't want to miss anything. I am already booked to do it again next year with my entire family!

LOVE THE DAYS AT SEA,VERY RELAXING.I DON'T GET SEA SICK SO EVEN THE ROUGH DAYS I ENJOY.IF YOU ENJOY STROLLING THE DECK THEN BRING SOMETHING WARM AND WINDBREAKER BECAUSE ON DECK WHEN THE SHIP IS MOVING IT IS CHILLY AND HIGHLY WINDY.THE INSIDE PASSAGE /GLACIER BAY/CRUISING INTO VARIOUS PORTS JUST WONDERFUL,DON'T MISS IT.

  IN GENERAL OFTEN GO AS SINGLE SO DON'T LIKE PAYING DOUBLE PRICE FOR CABIN,ESPECIALLY WHEN BOOKED A WEEK PRIOR TO SAILING AND THEY ARE TRYING TO FILL THE ROOMS.I LIKE NCL'S RELAXED DINING OPTIONS AND NOT REQUIRED TO BRING SUIT AND TIE JUST TO EAT IN MAIN ROOM.NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT FOOD,JUST DISAPPOINTED NO BAKED ALASKA OFFERED ON ALASKAN CRUISE.ESPECIALLY LIKED THE OUTSIDE DINING AREA AFT,WELL COVERED AND USUALLY OUT OF THE WIND.

     WIDE CHOICE OF PORT ACTIVITIES BUT DUE TO PAYING DOUBLE FOR ROOM ON SHIP AS SINGLE WAS LIMITING PORT ACTIVITIES.I DON'T LIKE PAYING AS MUCH AS OR MORE THAN MY PLANE TICKET FROM CLEVELAND TO SEATAC FOR AN ACTIVITY.SO IN JUNEAU WALKED FROM SHIP TO VISITORS CENTER , DID MY OWN ARRANGED SHUTTLE TO   GLACIER WITH COMBINED TICKET UP MT.ROBERTS,DON'T MISS VIEW AT THE TOP.AT SKAGWAY READ ABOUT HIKE TO WATERFALL AND DID THAT FOR FREE,2 MILES OUT AND BACK.TRAIN RIDE IN SKAGWAY NOW UP TO $150.00.  AT KETCHIKAN DID EXTENDED HIKE AROUND THE TOWN ALSO FREE AND GOT SOME GREAT VIEWS OF AREA WISH WE HAD MORE TIME THERE.VICTORIA DID NOT EVEN GET OFF THE SHIP.

  NCL HAD SOME UNUSUAL TIMES THEY WERE IN THE PORTS.6 AM TO 2PM IN ONE OR 6PM TO MIDNIGHT IN VICTORIA.AND 2PM TO 10PM IN ANOTHER. MOST PRICES OF PORT ACTIVITIES WERE ALL OVER $100 AND WITH 3 LARGE SHIPS AT EACH PORT  I THINK ACTIVITY PRICES COULD BE LESS ESPECIALLY THAT TRAIN RIDE.

    IN GENERAL EVERYONE SHOULD EXPERIENCE A CRUISE UP THE INSIDE PASSAGE.

If you enjoy the beauty of nature and have an appreciation for what god created this is one fantastic cruise. We had beautiful weather it only rained two nights and the temperature was in the 60's most of the time. The time at sea was a little cooler but very windy. Glacier Bay beautiful; Skagway we took the helicopter tour to a glacier fantastic, ( had we expected the wonderful weather we would have taken the helicopter earlier and the the train ride later but our schedule did not allow enough time) We had heard the train was great; Juneau whale watching another fantastic beautiful tour and we also actually saw several whales; Ketchikan was the  Misty Fjords Flightseeing plane ride again the weather was fantastic we landed mid-flight at a lake in the mountains it would have been even greater if we had an opportunity to get off the plane and enjoy the wilderness but again the weather co-opperated no fog or rain. All the towns are old time western style with many shops of jewelry & souvenirs; Victoria BC, Canada stop was very short about enough time to walk to town and back with a stop at the shopping area or food & drink could have done without it.
