Other than the WI FI being an horrendous experience, everything else was good. The staff is very friendly . We were surprised how smooth the disembarkation process went. In the past, we were herded into lounges and had to wait a long time to be called.
Embarkation

As organized as they can be.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Drinks were good and strong enough. Food was abundant. The Summer Palace was the most serene . Overall the food was good but nothing really special. However, we did not purchase the Specialy Dining.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
My husband used the gym and found at times there wasn't enough equipment given the number of people on board. Enough hot tubs even though they are luke warm. That seems to be an industry standard though.
Entertainment

Good
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All staff went above and beyond to serve you.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I give it a 5 because the staff works so hard to keep the place clean. The bar on the 7th deck needs new bar stools. Rather worn out.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Size was appropriate for a cruise ship cabin. Room was cleaned everyday and the room steward was pleasant.
Ship tip
DO NOT EXPECT THE WI FI TO WORK. It would not connect most the time during the cruise.
We took the whale watching tour. It was fine but keep in mind the boat has to stay at least 100 yds from where the whales are. The whales do not jump all the way out of the water like in the movies or at Disney. We saw of a lot of tail action.
Yeah, had a bit of problem with tech but not with WiFi since like unplug for the cruise. My problem was with a camcorder battery and a USB connector at the Computer Center. Bad idea. Anyway, I like anyone who likes Pearl. Although we sailed in opposite directions, you north and me south, I bet our shipboard experiences were pretty similar. Check out my videos and compare yours with mine.
