Review summary

everything is good except for disappointing Chinese food. I liked the entertainment, show and movie going onshore is well organized and in order too expensive for those on-shore trips booking on the cruise compared to booking on shore

Embarkation

2 out of 5
wrong name printed on my keycard and it wasted about 15 min during my embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The whole experience is very good and comfortable. very relaxing env and nice view. However, the Chinese food is aweful and bad-tasting. I would not even call it Chinese food at all. Indian and other western food is good tasting.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
live show is good and entertainment is well organized.

Entertainment

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

nicely cleaned twice a day

Ship tip

Chinese food definitely needs improved. Do not order any Chinese food or try Lotus Garden if you have high expectation of a quality/authenticate Chinese food/catering.

We were on a NCL excursion and had bus problems We did not get back to ship till after we were scheduled to sail and ncl waited for us. Plus we learned ncl helped get us back to the ship. If that had been a non ncl excursion the ship would Not have waited. Just something to think about when deciding on excursion.

I have really been doing a lot of homework on third party booking or looking at the site itself comparing rates and reviews to plan our excursions for January.

Excursions from ship vs shore is an interesting discussion and challenge.
