A special "thanks' goes out to a waiter named Glen from the Philippines. He was professional & personable. He treated you as if you were a dear friend (even though you were just meeting him for the first time) and was genuinely glad to have you there.

I enjoyed the towel animals on my bed each day!

Ship tip

I personally enjoyed dining in the Summer Palace the best. The greeting I got from my waiter (Glen) on the first day set the tone. I was concerned because of my food allergies, that eating on board the ship might be a problem . He assured me that the staff would be able to accommodate me & they did.
