Review summary

First time on Norwegian. We mostly have gone on Celebrity/Royal Caribbean. Actually liked Norwegian better - it was classy, fun, ship atmosphere was wonderful. The staff all seemed to be happy in their job. Had great narration during Canal. Cruise Director Jodie and Asst. Tiara were extra special. Definitely will travel Norwegian again.

Occasionally had a long wait after order was taken but overall good. Food was excellent - wish they had more vegetarian choices.

Ship tip

Don't be afraid to ask questions...especially about shore excursions. Instructions were not clear unless you had a tour to see if you could also leave ship if you did not have a tour. Did not have interactivie TV that would allow you to check your bill. Had to ask to have it printed out.

Had to pay $20.00 for ferry to and from Belize because we docked at Harvest Caye resort...which was so commercial. Loved going to Provice, Belize. Gorgeous water and nice people.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Way too commercial.

Disembarkation

Great because we walked off with own luggage; Again communication was not clear from cruise line how it would be handled.
