Review summary
We enjoyed the excitement and instructions of the staff at the port and their helpfulness for the inexperienced. The stateroom was larger than we expected since we thought it would be tiny. Although small, it is organized and we did not spend much time there! The performances were great, the "anytime" dining was helpful, the food varied and tasty. Although it rained every day, we were able to see the glaciers and the presentation of the National Park Rangers was great! We tried to pack too much into our short time on shore and missed the first "load' of passengers for the Best of Juneau excursion which gave us only 20 minutes at the Medenhall Glacier and that is not enough! our whale watching was GREAT! good captain and guide, friendly, helpful, informative. the fact that it was the second to the last cruise in Alaska for the year made the prices better at the shops and we were pleased. I'd go again....if we had the $$!
