Review summary

The Alaska adventure you cannot go wrong....However I did not care for the lack of service we received on the Norwegian Pearl. With the free style dining the service was not very good. We had to ask for water and refills each night. One night we ordered iced tea and waited 30 minutes for the tea and had to ask for refills of that as well. In each free style room it was the same each night. There is no accountability with the service on board. It was the inside passage an date we needed not the pearl per say. I have not had good experiences with Norwegian an will not use them again . I have used   for 20yrs and have had great service with our travel agent Thomas.

Thank you for leaving your review but I am sorry that you did not have a great experience.  I can relate to one of your points, sometimes our ability to cruise to an area is driven more by circumstance (e.g., available time, budget) than by what would have been a first-choice desire.  Best wishes for better experiences in the future.

I'm surprised, my experience was the exact opposite of yours in the MDR. As you can see in my video, the aft dining room was nearly empty every time I ate there. Never a wait for anything, food was served to me fresh out of the kitchen. Hot stuff was hot, cold stuff was cold. Never had a half-empty glass. The piano player/singer was often the only one there while I ate my desserts.
