Review summary

Very good itinerary with at sea days between ports to relax. Very poor organization during both the embarkation and disembarkation process. We have done other cruises before and have never experienced this level of poor planning and lack of care. Boarding in Los Angeles was the worse we have ever experience as NCL staff did not prepared well nor showed any empathy for the hundreds of passengers that were exposed to freezing rain and high winds. Many boarded the ship soaking wet which could have been greatly minimized by properly staggering passengers.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Terrible embarkation experience with no concern for passengers health as we were exposed to freezing rain and high winds. NCL could have done a much better job by planning for this contingency!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall a good experience with minor issues associated with menu item descriptions not been accurate forcing us to return some dishes.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty of onboard activities to keep you moving, entertained, and happy.

Entertainment

Plenty of variety even though the Footloose show was just ok.

Disembarkation

Poorly planned allowing for very long lines and waiting times standing. NCL could have done a much better job by paying attention to immigration procedures and better staggering of passengers.
