This was my husbands first cruise but not mine. It was for our 25th wedding anniversary. I enjoyed it, although there were times of boredom. Many of the activities on the ship are not interesting to us and I am unsure if we will cruise again.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
It was nice to have a set time to board, although it seemed it was much earlier than the ship was ready so we ended up sitting in a cramped room for over an hour. Would have been nice to have someone in that room making announcements, handing out information etc.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was wonderful. I have Celiac disease and contamination can be very costly to me, I can get very sick. I did not have any cases of cross contamination. The staff was very careful with my food and it was wonderful to eat out without worry.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Since my husband and I don't gamble or buy cheezy art, I felt the on board activities were a bit lacking. With all the small spaces on your ship, if you didn't get to something an hour early, you weren't going to be able to participate. It was nice to see the demo's etc., but again a bit crowded. The weather on an Alaska cruise isn't conducive to a lot of swimming.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We really, really enjoyed Albatross Air, a very talented group. The shows were crowded for the Beatles tribute, you really should have had that in the theater most nights.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We received excellent service in almost all cases. There was one incident in the cavern with a bartender that was a bit of a surprise when he snapped at the guests about who was next, but other than that one incident it was pretty great. Out steward Mark was awesome, so nice. We had great service in the restaurants from Hennessy and Benny.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was always clean. Again, the small spaces were nice, but always crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
A little smaller than on other cruise lines I've been on but very nice
Ship tip
I love that you have fish in the halls that point the way to the bow. Wouldn't it be nice to see this in the main part of the ship. Just a fish now and then pointing the way. It's easy to get turned around and I spent a lot of time retracing my steps.
