Review summary

Too confined! My fault for getting a inside cabin, I dealt with that but I just felt so confined during the whole trip! Always on ships schedule. Dinning room was the best of all! Food was superb! Servers and Supervisor excellent! Always looked forward to dinner! Entertainment was Very Good!! ELEMENTS was fabulous! All in all just too many people on board and in ports. Especially when with other ships in Port.

TOO CLEAN! Steward was too much into my personal belongings! Moving things around . Touching my shaver (putting plastic cap back on shaver) WEIRD! Just too much! But yet nothing special....no animal towels, no candy. Took extra blankets away for afternoon naps . Even though I used the extra pillows in closet, he NEVER put pillowcases on the pillows. Always just put them back in the closet, without pillowcases. So we used them without cases every night. 🤔🙄

Ship tip

Main dinning room is the BEST! Don't bother going anywhere else for dinner. Get a balcony room!

In the future, you can mark your room for no service if that's what you prefer. Also, we have always had good luck getting to know our steward and communicating what we have liked. They have always been eager to accommodate, especially if the request is polite. Sometimes cruising is just not for everyone and that's ok.

Sounds like cruising may not be for you. Most people love it, but it’s not for everyone. Interesting comments about the room being too clean. Most complain that the service isn’t good enough. Organizing personal items is fairly common for room stewards from my experience. I find it interesting that you went to Alaska and made no comments about the ports or what experience you had there, but gave a lot of detail about the cabin steward and other items on the ship. Most are focused on the ports and scenery in Alaska, not things on the ship.
