Really plan your dinner if you have the specialty package around when you expect to get back from your excursion and around the ship nightly shows. We missed 2 due to our dinner reservations.

It would be better if non handicap guests would leave the handicap setting open. The staff tried to find tables for non-handicap some still just took the marked tables.

Have your cameras & phones ready because there so many picture spots to take. You can also take your food & meal out to the Garden Café to catch some views while you dine.

Specialty restaurants are well worth the investment when looking for something special, although the main dining rooms provide a more than adequate dining experience. Not sure why anyone would actually eat in the café when there are quieter and more relaxed places to eat, like aft deck and Cuccina

The buffet is often crowded and finding a seat a tough chore. The specialty restaurants were better, since they were mostly reserved. The various bars were a mixed bag...crowded at times and almost empty at other times. Live music was available most evenings...varied skill in the performers.

There is the great outdoors, deck 12 aft. It is a smaller buffet. Most people don't realize it there until the third day.

If you are looking for the daily tea & scones, they are all the way aft behind the Garden Cafe. But pass on the "Devonshire Cream" which is actually Dream Whip, if you are old enough to remember what that is...

Do not bring a ton of clothes, the freestyle dining makes meal time so much easier, casual but nice clothes of formal. Bring plastic bags to use to pack lunch or treats in for excursions.

Do not be turned off by having to share a table w/strangers when dining in the Garden Cafe as it is an opportunity to meet individuals from around the world as well as your backyard or home state!

Pick a different ship if you want to sail Norwegian. Mechanical issues that will cost you on your trip. You will get your walking in to see the events because they are front to back and top to bottom.

My beat recommendation is "Don't book any cruises on Norwegian ships." My cruise was costly and I was being cheated. They slipped in costs where they were unexpected and designed a lot of activity that sounded good but wasn't - again another cheat.
