Wonderful 50th Anniversary Cruise

Room Type: Suite

We loved NCL and the Jewel. This cruise was everything w hoped for! Having expected rain we actually got nice weather in all but 1 port and even with  a day of rough seas the crew of the Jewel kept the entertainment going making all of us comfortable. Having the unlimited beverage pkg. was great, we don't drink a lot but enjoyed feeling if we wanted a beverage we could enjoy one.

We had such a great time celebrating our 50th anniversary and enjoyed this gift from our kids for the event. The entertainment was good nighty and we had a great time on excursions, especially enjoying the Bering Sea Deadliest Catch. It was a great excursion informative, and fun. Well worth the cost! We would recommend it and give it 5 starsLove

Jewel was a fun ship and we slept so good. My only regret was not seeing which pillows we had as for the first time in years I had no back/neck ache. Even my Orthopaedic Dr. Recommends I try to find what they were!

There are a lot of things we would do and see now that we have been on our first cruise and we cannot wait to beable to afford to go again and would love to go on NCL again.

Now just hope to find a good deal on NCL without waiting to long, we are now hooked cruisers!

Cabin / Stateroom
Our balcony doors were not working properly and they sent someone up to fix them immediately. The cabin was clean and comfortable and bedding exceptional.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ramps were easy to use and personel polite, quick and helpful when we were going ashore and returning to ship
Ship Quality
The ship was so nice, clean and easy to get around.
Destinations and Excursions
Onboard Activities
Service and Staff
All the Jewels staff was great. Steven of the Accomidations was great and we were sent unexpected treats 2 times.
Our steward Robeto Nemes was so wonderful with great service and a fun sense of humor! What a pleasure he was, making us feel special even in his busy day!
Food and Dining

Do not bring a ton of clothes, the freestyle dining makes meal time so much easier, casual but nice clothes of formal.
Bring plastic bags to use to pack lunch or treats in for excursions.
