If a dining room is full, just go find another one, there will always be something open somewhere. The food is great everywhere you go.

I cannot speak about the rest of the Norwegian Cruise Line ships, but if you have an option to take any other Cruise Line over NCL Jewel I would do so. The service and food was horrible. We even had upgraded dining and the service was better at the buffet then in the upgraded dining.

We did NOT see the glacier up close...in fact I think I saw a glacier???? Felt really cold, but not close enough to tell! We are hikers so we would get off the ship and head for the hills all by ourselves! Had to get away from all the people in the very small towns!!!!!!!!!!!!

We preferred the Azura Dining Room to the Tzar. They were more willing to acomodate our crowd and it seems cozier. Breakfast on the Back Deck (weather permitting) was very pleasant.

Get to the shows early for a seat.

Pick excursions that will still be ok in bad weather, a seven mile hike is a bit of a downer in pouring rain.

We choose the dining package and enjoyed x3 very fine meals on board at times we choose. One was our anniversary.

There's a few complimentary restaurants. Try azura good food and they change menu every night!

There's food everywhere! Haha Don't miss to dine in at Moderno! They have to watch all the shows at Stardust. All performers were FANTASTIC and AMAZING! What a talent and productions well-thought and performed!!!

Walking on and off the ship with your luggage is the best way to go. Be ready to disembark even earlier than the printed time. The announcement to disembark occurred half an hour earlier than than printed in our program.

We had the special dining package and throughly enjoyed them. We found that breakfast and dinner in the Tzar restaurant was excellent.

If you're looking for a quiet spot, head up to the top deck from the basketball court. There are some nice chairs and no kids.

Wireless/internet very expensive. Be sure to put cell phone, tablet, etc. in airplane mode, turn off wireless and data.

Make it 100% non smoking!! 17% of the population shouldn't make it unsafe for the 83% of the non smokers! What part of "Smoking causes cancer " does NCL not understand.
