Review summary
The views were breathtaking. The excursions we chose were amazing. The service and the food on the ship was subpar. They nickel and dime you to death with hidden fees everywhere. The service was incredibly slow even in the upgraded restaurants. Would not recommend the Norwegian Cruise Lines Jewel to anyone.

I cannot speak about the rest of the Norwegian Cruise Line ships, but if you have an option to take any other Cruise Line over NCL Jewel I would do so. The service and food was horrible. We even had upgraded dining and the service was better at the buffet then in the upgraded dining.
