This was my 8th cruise and I thought the entertainment on it was by far the best I have seen. The food was good as well, however, I do not like having to pay for the specialty restaurants. I like having everything being included in your cruise price. The cruise director Jaime was fabulous! She was so fun to be around and made all of the activities very enjoyable. You could tell that she has been doing this for a long time. DejaDuo/the acrobat/dance team was outstanding. I've never seen anything like that before! The comedian was ok, but the magician was also outstanding. He was hilarious as well. I do think the rooms on the jewel are very small in comparison to other boats I have been on. We always stay on an inside room and this room was particularly small and I did not like how at night you did not have any space to walk around your bed. Also, I went the whole week and my steward never introduced himself to me! My daughter went to the video arcade and was charged multiple times for games she didn't think she played. apparently you have to wait a certain amount of time to swipe your card or you get charged. So, be aware of that. We did not care for the stop at Banana Coast, wished we would have stopped at Roatan. Not much to do there. Otherwise, we had a pretty good time.

Great first time experience,a little disappointed with the food,very friendly staff,my daughter had a blast,good shows.Not the best but was a good experience,a little over priced because of spring break.

This was our third Norwegian cruise. Having sailed twice with Norwegian before, I was very excited and had high expectations. This one was our worst cruise experience yet. The ship was not as fancy as I had expected. The main dining rooms were very slow and wait staff were inattentive to our needs. There was no teen club for my teenagers, just a small arcade with a few games. No laundry on any floor of the Ship. The photo gallery charged me 20.00 for a thumb drive of the pictures I had purchased, and then instead of giving me the thumb drive I had paid fo. The pictures were put on a breakable cd. When I got home and viewed thevpuctures, they left off one picture of my husband and son together. The photo gallery attended would only say, "we ran out of thumb drives, sorry!" No offer of any kind of reimbursement at all. I did not get what I paid for. The entertainment was the worst on any cruise ship yet. Nothing special. Every night, we were ready for the shows to end. Like I said, I've sailed with Norwegian before and had great experiences, but I will not be booking with Norwegian again after this cruise. Disappointed.

The crew and entertainment were tops.Best cruise of 8 that we've been on.Buffet was setup with plenty of room .Very well layed out. Many excellent food choices. The guys at entrance to buffet were great with washy washy song very day to cheer you up.again top cruise line.Don't change a thing.mvn

The food was excellent lin both dining rooms. We especially liked O"Sheehans where we always got a window table. The Rack of Lamb and Prime Rib were especially good. We went to the Garden Buffet once, but were not impressed. Too crowded and ordinary food. Our steward was extremely helpful. He not only cleaned our room, but when we found much of our clothes wrinkled, he brought us an iron and ironing board. There is a laundry service on board, but it is expensive. The entertainment at night is first class. Also,  there is a great array of shore excursions. This was our fourth cruise and it was great.

1st nite in my room all threw the nite we heard chairs moving around and loud noises above us while we tried to sleep and this went all 7 nites.. when I tried to use me unlimited drink card i had to sign for every drink i got. the people that worked for this company was not friendly at all. they did not even get to know or name. My kid tried there 10-12 yr old care and they never did anything fun. most of the time she was with me. at two ports we had to b carted in by boat. what a wait they call by # to line up for boat but the keep calling numbers and people where waiting pass the 4th floor on 6th on the stairs to get on in a line. than they frozen my card so i could not get any drinks until i paid for my and my kids 12.95 for grad. so that is $39 a day. I told them I only pay in cash at end of cruise but i still had to put more money down and i never got it back when i got off the boat. Norwegian sucks and i will never take another one of there boats again. Carnival all the way.

The NCL crew was outstanding. We were welcomed, pampered, and experienced high quality service in all the ships venues. Going in and out of Houston was a breeze. Thank you NCL for an awesome, relaxing, and most enjoyable vacation. We'll be back soon.

The crew was wonderful. Everyday we were greeted by sweet smiles that made us feel special. 

The food was wonderful. We really liked the relaxed feeling we had. 

Very enjoyable and relaxing.  Food was very good and a had a very good selection.  Also enjoyed the entertainment each evening. Rooms were very well kept and service was also good.

My family of 5, including teenagers, had a great time at Cozumel, Belize, and Honduras.  However, in all 3 locations we arranged our own excursions and avoided the tourism as much as possible.  We went to a private beech on Cozumel, found a guy with a boat to take us snorkeling with sharks & stingrays in Belize, and rented a car to drive across the island in Honduras.  Had we stayed with the heard of people disembarking the ship, I doubt our experience would have been as good.  Full disclosure: we're not the tourist type and usually try to take the path less traveled; this was also our first cruise experience.

This luded 3 whole days at sea.  For our family, this was WAY too much.  Also, the food in the main dining rooms was just mediocre.  The concepts we're good - duck confit, chateaubriand, beef tartare, cherries jubilee, etc.  However, the execution was below par and obviously prepared in large quantities for a lot of people.  Somewhat understandable, but disappointing.  The one upscale restaurant we tried was noticeably higher in quality.  Although, depending on what you ordered, it was a second up-sell.

I very much disliked the constant "selling" on board.  Everything is way overpriced.  I'm accustomed to paying double store price for wine in a restaurant, but here it was triple.  Mixed drinks were $10-12, and weren't made well.  We did enjoy the mojito flight at one of the bars, and thought the price of $15 was fair.

Staff was very friendly and professional.  No complaints in that department.

Overall, there is no other way to take a family of 5 on a 7 night vacation out of the country for this price.  It was far from ideal, but we enjoyed relaxing, spending time together, and exploring the port locations.  We probably won't cruise again.  But we are definitely going back to Belize!!

I had a great time on this Norwegian Cruise! We went in early March and got a fantastic deal. We had a porthole window room with the ultimate beverage package included for free! The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we really enjoyed having a bit of a view. This was my first time with the "freestyle" cruising which was fantastic. It was great to be able to be so flexible and come and we go as we pleased for dinner. Cocktails we tried were all fantastic!! I would say our cruise paid for itself in the first three days in alcohol alone. The service was always quick whether we were at one of their many bars or lounging by the pool. We only ate in the complimentary dining rooms, though our friends tried the Steakhouse and French bistro and enjoyed them. I'd rate the food overall as a 3.5. There were some hits and misses but for the most part we enjoyed the variety of choices and were never left hungry. O'sheehans had the most consistently good food; though the menu is set so we were able to try everything. I loved the chicken pot pie and buffalo wings. The entertainment highlights were the russian acrobatic duo and the cirque show. You can tell by the applause that the whole audience was entranced. I enjoyed the magic show but most of the comedy was a miss, for me. The standup comic was also very unfunny and sounded like he hadn't come up with anything fresh in 10 years. We thought all the ports we visited were great but did not book excursions through Norwegian. Tendering & disembarking was organized and timely so we had plenty of time for adventuring. I will definitely would book with Norwegian again. 

Had an excellent time. The folks on board who were there to assist were all extremely professional and helped in any way feasible.   The food was delicious and very well prepared.  All services were done in a professional and friendly matter.   My only reservation on the trip was the size of the room but it was workable.   We made some mistakes as a result of this being our first cruise, but, those were our fault.   The locations we visited were beautiful and we had an excellent time overall on the trip.

Friendly crew and beautiful ship.  Great entertainment. Interesting people we meet on the cruise.  Great ports of call. Overall a great cruise. Plenty of good food and variety to choose from.

Enjoyed this cruise very much.  Went with 3 other friends.  Ports had great shopping and things to see without having to book an excursion if you didn't want to. We did not book any excursions.  If you want much more than shopping there are plenty of excursions to choose from whether you are limited in mobility or you have children with you.  If you are an adventurous type person there is lots to choose from too.  On board the food was great and plentiful.  Had a great cute kids buffet each day along with a kids eating area with shorter tables and chairs.  Lots of activities for all ages/activity levels on board as well.  Everyone will be pleased I think.

We were very satisfied with the Cruiseship and the Steward that looked after our stateroom.  We liked having a balcony where we could have a good view of everything and every place we went.

From the ease of getting on the ship until the time we got off, we had a wonderful time. I would recommend this cruise and ship to all of our friends and family.

We were very impressed by the Norwegian Jewel. Large enough ship, but not huge. It was clean, had plenty of places and chairs to relax on the sun decks. The entire staff was wonderful. We've been to all three of these ports, so we knew what we wanted to do in port. The entertainment was great...we especially enjoyed the band "Next Stage". It would be great if Norwegian could find a way to squeeze another port stop on this cruise. We would take this cruise again and would highly recommend it to others!

The entertainment and live music on our cruise were as good as we have ever experienced.  The food and meals provided a wide variety of selections, and the good was much better than typical restaurant quality.  Our room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was big enough to move around in.  Roatan was beautiful!

The cruise was fun. Had nice excursion offers. The Delta flight back from Houston to Minneapolis on Feb 28 was awful. Our party of 4 checked in 4-4.5 hours before flight time. Were told that the gate would assign seats. We approached the gate and they told us to come back an hour before the flight. We did and the only seats that were left were the back row. So even though we had checked in BEFORE everyone else on that plane, we were forced to sit in the back row with our faces right in line with the toilet. NOT NICE. I talked to 5 different Delta people and NONE of them could tell my WHY THIS HAPPENED. But I was told that she hoped it doesn't ever happen again - no clue as to how we can prevent it however. Go Delta!

Cruise was very relaxing and food was great. Shows were great. Ship is simply beautiful. My wife was upset about it took too long to get fed in the AZURA dining.  Approx. 2 hours.  Dining area was great looking but my wife and I missed the last showing that night.  Thanks to O sheen dining was great.  Stevo and myself enjoyed it very much.  The TV showings could show more variety if possible.  Again thanks for an outstanding week.  I plan to be back on this ship in the near future.
