Review summary

We had fun and saw a lot of beautiful scenery. We were lucky the ship was less than 50% occupied, shorter lines and fewer people. That's why we chose the first cruise of the season.

The people were wonderful and very helpful. The food and drinks were great. The restaurants were very good but Chin Chin's had a lot to be desired. The people working there didn't know what Chinese mustard was, very odd. We enjoyed O'Sheehan's Bar & Grill, don't go there expecting Irish beer or food. Not on the menu.

This was our first cruise and after reading the literature about this suite we were disappointed. The staff took great care of us and our needs

DO NOT PURCHASE THE WATER PACKAGE, WORSE WATER I HAVE EVER DRANK AND I PAID FOR IT, YUCK.

We also loved our Alaskan cruise on the Jewel. We do agree with you regarding our stay in Juneau. Although we absolutely loved zip lining in Icy Strait Point we wish we had more time in Juneau. Too much time on our excursion whale watching while not nearly enough time at Mendenhall Glacier.
