We have loved this itinerary and have sailed this cruise line with this itinerary 4 other times……this is the only time we have been this disappointed.

Everything went smooth. Port had two cruises checking in so somewhat confuseing…

Food was good. Buffet was disappointing( same food and boring ) main dinning room good, specialty restaurants excellent…

Onboard Activities

Not much to choose from. Poor planning Went down for a cocktail to the Malt bar (numerous times) and couldn’t get a drink…. seemed like the Malt bar was always closed due to tastings going on Seriously!!!! So went to the cocktail bar next door and said hi to the bartender how are you…his comment was. Well I’m working !!!! So bottom line. Need some work down there…. Bad and disappointed.

Cabin was great….. tipped our cabin steward extra 4 days in a row. (No thank you at all…nothing extra — So that ended). ( we tip for service ,and never had such mediocre service) bed was super…Bathroom was to tight for my husband and he’s not a big man…

Thank you! We really enjoy rhe activities and will be on the Jewel for 12 days in March. Hopefully they have worked through some of the issues.

I was on the Jewel 12/31/22 to Mexico. Not my favorite ship but the service was excellent, Moderno my favorite specialty restaurant. Lots of kids & teens on vacation with very little to do except pool which was closed last two days due to weather. I thought the buffet had lots of options, yet similar to Carnival or Princess. My first time on NCL, nice but overhyped.
