Great vacation. I highly recommend. We did a behind the scenes tour and it was great to see how everything works.

We showed up a little early, but that wasn't a problem.

Buffet was good, could be crowded, but that's to be expected. Tsar's palace was good, our favorite was Chin Chin!

Great food! The potstickers were amazing!
Onboard Activities

We played bingo, went to a newlywed show-always a good time, and went to a couple trivia games. All were fun, and I liked that they were all around an hour long, so they didn't take the whole afternoon.
Entertainment

Saw all four of the main shows offered. All were great.

Good size, there were plenty hangers in the closet!
Ship tip
The Jewel is a great size ship, not too big, not too small.
Amazing! We watched from our balcony which was so nice. It was awe inspiring to see the glacier up close. We could hear the groaning noise it made, and saw it calve twice!
Our excursion took all of our time, so we didn't get to see the town. Did go out to the glacier which was great, and went whale watching. We got to see a group of humpback whales do a bubble feed!
We did the White Pass railroad- went up the hill in a van, came down on the train. Great excursion. Walked around town after that, had a delicious fry bread and enjoyed ourselves.
My favorite port. We arrived after noon, so the morning haze had burned off, and it was a beautiful day. Didn't time it right to see a lumberjack show-we'll do that next time. We walked to Creek Street and took the funicular up to the top, that was great!
We stayed an extra 2 days in Vancouver. Our hotel was on Granville Island, and was great to be close to restaurants and the water. We visited the Van Dusen botanic gardens and the Bloedel Conservatory, both were great, it was easy to take the bus to both of them. We love Vancouver.
