We loved the specialty steakhouse, Cagney's, and the Brazilian Restaurant. Both had superb food and service. I suggest you make your reservations ahead of time, and around the entertainment, which started at 7:30 p.m.. so you don't miss either one.

Be sure to attend the outstanding productions in the Starlight Theater. The Garden Cafe has the best possible set up for speedy food selection and no waiting in line. Absolutely my favorite Garden Cafe. Never had to wait in line at the Grand Pacific and the wait staff and food were excellent.

This ship is showing a little wear and the upholstery on the chairs in the lounges is awfully worn.

Norwegian Jade is a nice ship but everything else was average.

Most shows are at 7:30 & 9:30 so plan your dining accordingly.

This being our second trip on this ship, surprisingly not much had changed, and that is good. I was somewhat disappointed that NCL did not use technological advances to go a step farther in recognizing that we were repeat Jade passengers.

We did like the casual dress code for our cruise. Free style was a smart choice for Norwegian Jade.

we ate most of our meals on the back open deck ( the great outdoors ) on the 12th deck day and night. And the spinnaker lounge on 13th forward has the best view on the ship.

Don't go if you have a vegetarian and/or active member . It is pretty hard to sit in the garden buffet the whole day doing nothing. There is nothing to do most of the day.

The hot crepes in the Garden Cafe at dinner are very good. You can skip dessert at the dining rooms and then indulge with one of these crepes with whipped cream.

We ended up going to the main dining room early each evening, having the same dining staff who were delighful, which made it fun and more personal. The staff works really hard so prepare to give extra to those who really deserve it!

Great Outdoor cafe is still one of the biggest perks of NCL ships. Eating off the back in the awesome weather is the best.
