Review summary

This was our second cruise on Norwegian and it was not as great as our first cruise. We must have been on our cruise when all the waiters were on vacation. Service was hard to get in the lounges and when you got service it was sooooo

sloooowwww. Now I know why they offer the FREE drink package because you have a hard time getting a drink. Everything else was good except on our horseback shore excursion we came back with chigger or flea bites all over our legs. Food was repetitive in the buffet but the Dining Room food was exceptional.

Cabin was great for inside which was our first time. We wanted to try the inside rooms out. Norman our steward was great and always around when you needed him.

Ship tip

This ship is showing a little wear and the upholstery on the chairs in the lounges is awfully worn.

Ports of call

Houston, Texas

I can't believe that the cruise lines are leaving this port in April. The facility, parking access to the ship and exit through customs is the best that we have experienced. It is a shame that this facility could be used for Obama's refugees.

We did the Segway tour and it was amazing. the guides were awesome and we can't wait to do this again.

We enjoyed the horseback excursion until we returned home and began itching from the bites we received while riding the horses. It had to be chiggers since their bites don't show up and itch until a week - 10 days after they bite.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We just visited the local shops around the dock and had an enjoyable lunch and drinks at Captain Jacks wharf extending over the water. The coconut shrimp and the local beer were outstanding.
