Exchange US dollar for pounds. Also, do England/Scotland later in May if possible or be prepared for cold,wet The 1st day is a long one and could not get into cabin until 2PM. Overall, super trip do homework on shore excursions before sailing as many were booked before saling. There is a lot to see so book ASAP

Overall very good cruise for combined dining and entertainment.

The personnel on board this ship or what made this cruise an extraordinary experience. Almost every person we met went above and beyond expectation. We were made to feel special. I expect that we were not the only ones!

Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. The cruise was relaxing, food good and plentiful, entertainment great and staff friendly and helpful.

Bare bones crossing. Nothing special. Ships on other cruise lines I'd been on had a luxurious feel, the Jade felt plastic and basic. The cabin was too small. No place to sit to put on shoes. Desk and extra bunk bed on side walls made it impossible to walk beside the bed on either side without being contorted,

Other than the problems with getting on and off the ship with a disabled person needing assistance, the whole excursion disembarkment process was a zoo. NCL needed a more controlled process such as the one they use for the mandatory safety muster, putting each group in a separate area rather than in one place that requires steps and standing.

We had cruised on the Jade before; we noticed quite a difference on the employees on the ship this cruise, that did not meet our expectations of Service and not willing to go extra mile.

Glad we did it, but we probably would not do this itinerary again.

Overall, they did a lovely job updating this ship. The crew was always working very hard, and it was typically very clean. This did not look its age after the reno, but I did miss some items that I appreciate on other ships (poolside movie screen, more shops onboard). That said, I knew these things when I booked it, and the ship delivered what was advertised. I would highly recommend this ship to those folks who don’t require all of the bells and whistles found on the newer mega ships. She is a good, clean ship with an outstanding crew that aims to assist you in having a great vacation.

I have cruised on other lines and this was my first on Norwegian and I definitely would do it again. The food was good and the drinks were cold and the entertainment was great. My only complaint was that the staff could have been more friendly.

Would Never Cruise On The Jade Again... One Of The Worst Experience I’ve Every Had On A Cruise & I’ve Been On Many.... Staff Were Not Friendly, Never Knew Room Attendants Name ( because he never introduced himself), Never Got To Eat In The Specialty Dining Because Reservations Were Booked For The Whole Cruise After The First Day! ( mind you we had specialty dining package).. Me & My Family Were Racially Profiled Several Times!! By Crew.. I Would Never Ever Travel On The Jade!!! Again!!!

IT WAS GREAT EXCEPT IT WAS TO COZUMEL.BUT EVERYTHING WENT WELL. GREAT SHIP AND GREAT ENTERTAINMENT, FOOD AND EXCITMENT

This was our 4th family cruise and first on Norweign Cruise line. We have cruised Disney, Carnival and Royal. This by far is our least liked cruise. This experience left a lot to be desired from food selection to entertainment to kids program. The only best part of our cruise was the unlimited beverage package we opted for as one of the bonus. If we didn't have this I probably would of gave this experience a one. The only food we enjoyed was breakfast as it provided lots of options but that was where it ended as Lunch was below average and dinner we skipped because of lack of selection. Servers appeared to be unhappy with their jobs as they were not personable at all nor did they smile. They one person who was pleasant to see every day was the lady spraying antibacterial on our hands as we enter the outdoor dining room. We definitely do not plan to cruise Norweign again and will share with all our not so fun time here.

We went to Cozumel and took the Jeep Snorkel excusion. The jeeps are very old and you just need to have a sense of humor if your going to drive them. It will make the exprerience more fun for your vacation. My husband's seatbelt didn't work so they tied it together, the speedometer didn't work (we aren't even sure if the fuel gage did), the stick shift numbers were reversed (luckily we know the order), the reverse didn't stay in gear so I had to hold it down for my husband for him if he needed 2 hands on the wheel, BUT it was giving us a real laugh and making us appreciate our Jeep we own at home.

Absolutely loved cruising in the Jade; first cruise for my 20 & 15 year old daughters and they were in awe the entire time!!! Food was great in every place that we went to and the ship was beautiful! Can’t wait to sail again!!!

We absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to go on our next cruise.

Thoroughly enjoyed our four day cruise to Cozumel on the Jade.My wife and I sailed on this ship for our honeymoon in November, 2007 when she was the Pride of Hawaii and it was our first and best cruise.  At the time it was NCL's newest and most expensive ship ever built.  The ships built since then definitely have bigger and better features, but I have a soft spot in my heart for this ship even though she is not the newest or fanciest any more.   Cozumel was our only stop and we loved it! We had never been there before but it was easy to get around with a super cute VW beetle we rented for only $30.00!  The people were all friendly and we did not feel unsafe at any time.  We stopped at Punta Sur for some fun in the sun and then on to the Mayan Ruins at San Gervasio.  Punta Sur is a beautiful beach spot but I would not recommend going there without a rental car, the area is huge and there is only one very bumpy dirt road to get to the beach.  There are only three gas stations on the island so we had to wait in a long line to get gas, but besides that the rental was a smooth and easy process and the rental office was within walking distance of the pier. Overall we had an excellent cruise and found the service to be better than when we cruised on the Escape in December, especially in the main dining rooms. I would recommend the Jade to anyone who likes a fun cruise on a good ship with an excellent crew.

This is a great ship it’s in the Jewel class very well maintained
