A once in a lifetime experience. I can say I did that. Another adventure checked off my bucket list.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Easy and efficient.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Specialty Dining was as expected. Grand Pacific and Alizar never dissolved whether breakfast or dinner. very enjoyable. I personally am not a fan of any buffet but was forced on two separate occasions to dine there.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Very limited which we were aware prior to purchasing . So those activities that adults might have participated in were overrun with younger children.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I attended a show called Souvenir ..... which was an acrobatic performance that was phenomenal.
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
My 13 year old son cruised and although he seemed interested in a lot of the activities offered in Entourage he did not attend any. He’s a teenager. Take that into consideration.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
My steward Pedro Ortega and the Waiters in the Alizar and the Grand Pacific aimed to please.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
One bathroom on the 6th floor outside of the Alizar was in need of attention each time I visited it despite the sheet being checked off that it had been attended.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
10088 Starboard. Our room was as expected and had great view all but three times of our ten days at port.
Ship tip
The reviews I read were in line with what I expected.
We did a walking tour for the sake of getting into town. We tried. It was a historical tour but boring. We were bored and instead walked back to the market to shop in peace as all the tours returned a half hour to an hour before it was time to return to the ship. We didn’t want to feel rushed.
Did a hop on hop off that was just ok after NCL informed us that we would not see the blue grotto. That was my sole purpose in booking the Views of Malta excursion. Not NCL fault. A notice was issued my Malta officials.
Long walk.
Long day. Ten hour excursion. The leaning Tower was nice. Only had an hour as we had 3 1/2 in Tuscany. I could’ve spent more time in Pisa. Tuscany was 🥴 for me.
