We had a great time on this cruise!
I had watched the weather for weeks before this cruise and was worried about rain every day (because that's what the forecast was showing). We did have rain in Haugesund and Flam (and I am sure this impacted our impressions of those ports), but the rest of the days were decent to stunningly beautiful!
We went on this cruise with my parents (who are 79), and we all had a great time. We were surprised by the number of kids of all ages on the cruise and weren't sure how much fun they might be having.

The food overall was really good. No complaints there. In fact, we are always amazed at cruise food quality given the number of meals being prepped on a daily basis. As with any ship, the cafeteria was pretty chaotic most of the time - which we expected but did not always appreciate. We did, however, find that the service in the Grand Pacific dining room deteriorated toward the end of the cruise.

We had a mini suite directly under the Entourage teen disco. I was worried pre trip about noise late at night. We didn't have any issue with that (keep in mind we weren't on a super teen-heavy cruise, but there were several onboard). What we did hear during the day was thumping from the sport court two flights above us. Never too awful and certainly didn't keep us awake at night, but be aware.
We LOVED having the balcony view on this cruise. It was amazing cruising into the fjords and being able to have a great view from the cabin.
Ship tip
Pre book all of your dining online if you don't want to have to wait for a table. Also, pre book your excursions if you really want specific ones. Several were sold out by the time the ship sailed.
We were so excited to take the Flam Railway, and it was an awful cattle car! Hundreds of people jockeying for limited window seats. It didn't help that it was raining, so there was nothing to do during our hour in the mountain town.
