It was outstanding. 7 days of pure relaxation!! Cruise staff and entertainment were top notch. They were extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel like we were the only ones on board.

I traveled with my 43 year old daughter and had a wonderful time.  This ship is way too big and if you are giving away ultimate beverage package you need to staff your bars better.  It took us over 45 minutes to get drinks.  You also need to contain  your smokers.  They seemed to be everywhere.   We had a deck on 8 and smokers were below us on 7.  Didn't make since!   The atrium areas on 6, 7 and 8 were also full of smoke.  We like to walk the decks for exercise but the smokers were on the 8th floor and it was hard to get around them and get clear of the smoke smell.

Great ship.. did not feel as large as it was .. good entertainment and great food options.I recommend Ultimate Beverage package and dinner deal was awesome too.

Balcony cabins were great small balcony but was fine .

Had adult children in an attached cabin and there 3 in  a balcony cabin

And there was plenty of roo.

The rooms are very small no place to sit, and not drawers to keep your personal items. You have to pay for some shows and the seat in the theather are no comfortable.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon on the Getaway and it was amazing!

On such a large ship, the crew was still able to provide exceptional customer service and there was always a great activity to take part in. In addition to the great service, the ship is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we made sure to book a family cruise on the Getaway for next year so that our family can enjoy the ship as much as we did. 

First, agent Dickson has provided excellent services.  We are really satisfied his services and decide to use him again to plan 2017 Mediterranean cruise.

This is our 6th cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line and 4 years in row.  We feel NCL overall service is declined from food, entertainment, to housekeeping.  Some staffs are reluctant to service minority tourists, some even very unfriendly.  Not sure if it is due to promotion cost, you can find in many places that NCL cuts corners to make money back. 

The ship was amazing! Tons to do for everyone,  the food was great,  the staff could use some improvement. 1 of my biggest complaints was that we missed out on $100 in shore excursions due to not being told that the $200 credit for excursions was actually meant to be spent $50 per day. We were never told this information and we were very disappointed to find out that we couldn't use the credit towards 1 excursion and ended up missing out on using $100 of our credit and had to cancel or orginal plans. As a travel agency you should be very clear about the details in the promotions that you offer. 

This cruise ship has it all and the itinerary is exceptional.  The shows are top notch and we loved the dinning options.  Legally Blonde was exceptional but Burn the Floor was by far the best.  No negatives just that seven days is not enough.  congrats to NCL. 

The cruise was over rated for being a new ship. It didn't provide enough entertainment for the duration of the 7 days. What little entertainment you had on board it was difficult to reserve a show ahead of time, every time I tried it was overbooked. Our stateroom was smaller than expected and not ready for us when we boarded the ship. Too many additional expenses for things that I feel should have been free on the ship. Our room attendant was a pleasant surprise, the complimentary restaurants had the same menus, the excursions were too expensive, ports didn't offer any entertainment on land and the gift shops were over priced. I would not recommend  this ship to any of family or friends. It was a great disappointment for being a year old ship, never again!!! 

Este barco es impactante, el grupo de entretenimiento , los grupos musicales especialmente growe internacional, las obras teatrales, Imaginariun, las fiestas en H2O, los restaurantes  incluidos y  sin cargo, y el Freestyle Cruising , tanto es así que es mi segundo viaje en este crucero, la gente en el mismo a cambiado pero la calidad persiste.                                                                                            El único comentario es  y por eso  escribo mi reseña en Español no es que hace falta un poco mas de información especialmente los anuncios por parlantes que solo son en Ingles y deberian ser realizadas en mas idiomas.

This was my 2nd cruise aboard the Getaway and my 2nd NCL cruise and I had yet another wonderful experience.  Although the shows were the same as the first cruise, I still enjoyed myself.  The Ultimate Dining package is well worth it and there are several great options aboard ship.  Ocean Blue, Cagney's and Moderno's are a few of my favorites.  If you enjoy tasting new wines, be sure to go a wine tasting with the ship's wine steward.  The wine musical tasting was OK, but I enjoyed my self and learned far more during this more intimate experience.  All in all, I can definitely say that I will be cruising with NCL in the future.

This was my first cruise and I had a wonderful time the staff members was very courteous and pleasant overall the cruise was amazing.  I  will always cruise with Norwegian on Norwegian you don't need to go to the Island this ship has everything for your satisfaction #well done Norwegian.

Grand Cayman is beautiful, don't miss the sting rays and make sure you book the excursion "Xplor" only offered through Norwegian! Those two excursions were worth the whole trip. 

This was our first time on a Norwegian Cruise and as much as we were excited, we were also skeptical. We put in the work to pre-book our shows, dinners and excursions and let me tell you it was WORTH the extra time we took before the cruise! We walked into venues and avoided the ON DECK lines and felt like VIPS! The boat was amazing and had so many activities for ALL ages, we traveled as a party of 9 ranging from ages 20 mo. to 60+ and EVERYONE had a blast.!

 The NCL Getaway is good ship for kids under 12  years old, the ship has a lot of pool slides and other things that kids loves.

 The ship  Getaway Mimi suites are small balcony compare to other ship the only good thing was the bathroom. The  tropicana dinning room was only room that was  decent looking and the food on main dinning was bad like going to Denny's and the service was bad, NCL cut back on staff and has only one person per table it took 15 minutes to take our order on the first night, they force you to go to they  specialty   

 Restaurant to get good food and service.  I will probably would not take a NCL cruise again...

First time cruised with Family, kids and grand kids had fun. That's all that matters. "Burn the Floor" was great, dancers were very good and so are the musicians.

We had a blast on our family cruise -- there were 7 of us (4 adults, 3 kids).  The kids loved everything about it from the activities, to the kids program, to the endless buffet. There were fun things and parties for the adults to do as well - but this is definitely a family ship, I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic adult vacation.  The food was ok -- lots of quantity and a decent amount of variety - but by day 4 you'll be ready to eat off the ship.

Our balcony room was smaller than other ship's balcony room;  no chair in the cabin at all.  difficult to even get by the bed to get to balcony.  Night shows repeated.  Casino machines no animation.  Blasting noise (?music) so loud you could hear all over ship, Amps in small lounge so loud also.  Very few programs of things to do.......only a few promoting the spa.  Would not choose to cruise with Norwegian again.  Only 2 elevator positions forward and aft, long way to walk between.  Cabin position on very narrow hallway, had to scoot into inset with cabin doors to let other passengers walk by..... Food good;  sometimes odd spices flavoring soups;  liquid smoke in the clam chowder!!!!  Ruined cioppino, inedible.   Have cruised Carnival, Princess, Holland multiple times each and been more pleased!!

The ship was impeccably clean, the staff was helpful and pleasant, the food was good, and my ocean view room was comfortable.  Happy with NCL and looking forward to the next one!

We vacationed with 5 couples and 10 children/teens/adults (all friends - ages 14 to 23). Everyone had a great time. The ship was very clean. We loved how hand sanitizer was available everywhere and also sprayed on our hands every time we re-boarded the ship. The entertainment was fabulous and food amazing! Our kids will remember this trip forever!
