Review summary

Overall it was a pleasant experience. But it's just not the same as the "prepandemic" NCL experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was just OK. Buffet was not great, food cold at times, random/changing closing times, no salt on 80% of tables. Crispy bacon was NEVER crisp. Speciality restaurants were great!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didn't do many.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Fair. Again, not up to past standards.

Cabin / Stateroom

Too small - layout poor to get into closer and to far side of bed or balcony.

Ship tip

Beware of little fees adding up....

Appreciate your feedback. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations. Cruising isn’t back and may never be. You just need to decide is it still worth your vacation time and money. For us the answer is, yes.

Post pandemic cruising is not the same for all the cruise lines. Even though they will not admit to it, I still think there are staffing issues, supply chain issues, and just plain old inflation. Like most of us, we are getting back on food purchases or buying off brands. Cruise lines are probably doing the same instead of raising cruise prices.
