Overall was good. Don't like their cost cutting way of doing things currently. Will still cruise but as this back to back was my 9th and 10th with ncl I will try other lines to compare. Have 4 more booked and only 1 is with ncl (prima) I have plenty of options in NY with 3 ports and multiple lines. Crew are hard working and not to blame in what's trending but I believe what I see with ncl and don't agree with how they're doing things. They charge for room service and now they also add a tip for it. Breakfast items to the room was free but now they add a delivery charge. With room service they told me I could only have 1 pitcher of water free. Certain regular wines and liquors are now an upcharge. Just the nickel and diming that is taking away from the experience. Again it's what you make it as always and it wasn't a bad cruise but it's not as good as not so long ago. I'm not trying to be negative as I'm just saying in my opinion of what I see going on

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Typical cruise food. Good, decent, not so good. Plenty to choose from. Modernos was the best on this cruise. Teppanyaki is smaller portions now since last October. Went to striploin instead of filet mignon. Cagney's was good. I went with the filet. La Cucina was also good.

Ship tip
Be patient. They are cutting costs wherever possible. Not fully stocking the boat. Smaller portions, going slower to save fuel which gives you less time at ports which leads to change of ports and skipping ports. St Lucia was cancelled since they didn't have a spot at the pier and they didn't want to tender and was replaced with St Maarten which then pushed St Kitts back a day and different hrs in the port. I've been to St Maarten and had an excursion for St Lucia, had something planned for St Kitts but the earlier port time wouldn't work and I cancelled both excursions. Disappointing but not horrible since it is a cruise and you come to expect things of this nature. If you cruised before covid you may not like the direction things are going. If new to cruising you don't know what is missing and there's plenty to do and enjoy
Was doing a back to back and the procedure was terrible. Meet in bliss lounge. Not everyone showed up. Waited, then told were leaving the ship if we want a jacket we could go back to our took and get them. They had 12 days to inform us of this and waiting till it was time. Then led off the ship like we were leaving, through luggage with purple who were leaving trying not to lose the group of 11, then customs and not allowed stairs up from there, walking with people to the street, then up to where people were going through security who were arriving to start their cruise, passports, metal detector, empty pockets, like just starting the cruise, was told to sit with new passengers waiting to get on board in front, then led towards the back and told to wait there and then led outside a haven lounge but then told to move aside not to be in the way of haven guests gong into the lounge, even though we were supposed to be back onboard 1st..Then finally into the haven lounge to scan our roomcards to get back onboard but a couple of haven guests was bothered that we went ahead of them and finally back on board a little over 2 hrs later. Seemed like they never did this procedure before. Unorganized and made complicated
Appreciate your detailed feedback. That proceeded for your B2B sounded convoluted. Sorry. We have now been on 3 B2Bs (on Carnival) and they were much easier.
