Ship is not large enough to accommodate the number of handicapped individuals in hallway and venues throughout the ship. Any activities did not along enough common space for the number of people aboard. One huge gripe is that latitude used to give privilege for loyalty and now that package is given to fill the ship. The ship giving everyone those priviledges cannot accommodate every traveler, and we spent significant money for our room. Overall, I would not suggest the Getaway ship in particular.

The food was good in main dining room and specialty restaurants. Both were very noisy and at the beginning extremely slow. Buffet was adequate but food was always on the cold side and very little variation for the 12 days. Biggest complaint was no food after 9:30 and even in the buffet food was taken exactly at 9:30 from cruisers.

We tried a little of everything. 12 days with continuous activities being the same got very boring and way too many people to accomodate in the common areas.
Entertainment

The musicians were so-so, to poor. The theater productions were amazing but for a 12 day cruise only 3 options and 1 was impossible to even see. The 2 were saw were outstanding. Big disappointment that the website advertised a dinner / theatre that no longer exists.

All areas were clean and maintained. Casino in the center with the smoking was smelt in all areas of the center.

Our stewart was great and the room was always up par. We loved the large bathroom and the balcony.
Ship tip
Our experience nearly cost us getting married which was the reason we cruised this line and ship. When talking with Rosa in NCL resolutions we were told numerous times that everything was subject to change. NOt helpful at all and needs to be removed from that position as we had a very serious dilemma to which she was dismissive. We had to forgo our wedding date and move it to a non-wedding dated to ensure we didn't lose our money.
We booked an excursion on a glass bottom book, which was not a glass bottom boat, but a party boat which was sub-par at best. The ships change of port time made it a very rushed port day and we were treated like cattle to get to the excursion.
