Review summary

Not the cruise I was expecting! Two ports were canceled....one with NO explanation and the other they said that the waves were to high. Our pictures say otherwise.

Mini suite is just a fancy name for a normal size balcony, nothing special. The ONLY thing that was great was the shower. The balcony was VERY small. Hardly room for two people and the two chairs. Since this won't let me rate the ports, Aruba n Caruso were great! We never made it to the Dominican Republic, no explanation was given!! Disappointed for sure. Then they said we would go to private island, never happened! Said sea was too high, we have pictures that show otherwise!! Not the experience we had expected.

Are you sure of your sail date? Nov. 8 ? We sailed Getaway from Port Canaveral on Nov.8 -Nov.28. Didn’t he to Stirrup Cay but made the other destinations at StMartin ,Antigua ,St Lucia, St Thomas, San Juan and D.R

Sorry you had a bad experience 😔 I was on the Getaway for 9 days an we didn't miss any ports seems like it's a hit or miss . You paid to be on a port so you should get some kind of conversation

OP had to be looking at Cococay when they said they saw ships docked there. Great Stirrup Cay doesn't have a dock. Obviously OP isn't aware that the other private islands do not have docks.

LOL. Great Stirrup Cay is a tender port. You did not see any boats docked there because there is no dock.
