This was such a wonderful cruise! The ports are phenomenal- I just wish we had more time in each. The highlights of the ship (for me) were the thermal spa and the food (taste or savor- same menu and so very good!). I want to do it all again!
Embarkation

Very easy process. The luggage drop off was easy. There was a short line in the terminal but it went quickly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

I enjoyed the food in the main dining rooms very much. I did go with friends to Teppanyaki, which was fun and the food good. I didn’t like O’Sheehan’s all that much- kind of like bar food, not my thing. I did have breakfast there once and the breakfast is good.
Onboard Activities

The Thermal Spa was amazing. After long days in port it was so nice to just relax and unwind before bed. It was open until 11 pm, very relaxing with a cool atmosphere looking out over the sea.
Entertainment

I left early from both Burn the Floor and the Million Dollar Quartet as I was a bit bored. Extremely talented performers, but I got bored. I enjoyed the live music at Syd Norman.
Service and Staff

Customer Service isn’t the best- they basically can’t help with any of your questions and have to ask the home office & then you get a letter in you cabin a few days later saying that can’t help you. Frustrating and definitely detracts from the happy mood of being on vacation. The Shore excursions personnel and the dinner reservation personnel (same area different sections) are much more helpful. Waiters are great, but do seem rushed, because they usually are very busy. My room steward Roberto was the best!

Design was easy and had no issues with cleanliness.

Spa Balcony- lovely! The bed was comfortable and it had everything I needed.
Copenhagen is great! If you do it on your own, the hop on hop off with the boat tour is all you need. Do the boat first because it gets crowded as the day goes on.
I went on NCL’s Best of Berlin tour. I have to say this trip was very well organized and worth every penny. We got to see a ton of the main sites and the train (chartered no stops) was only about 2 hours. We also had a nice sit down lunch and time to shop at the end. Long day, but perfect.
I did the NCL Old Town and Walking Tour- the guide was great! The town is interesting, with lots of history, beautiful buildings, churches and is so quaint. I would have enjoyed staying a little longer in town had it not been pouring rain. I hope I get to go back!
Amazing. You really need so much more than 2 days, but if it’s only 2 make sure you visit what you are interested in. I did the NCL Cathedrals of St. Petersburg (outstanding), the Hermitage at night (cannot even explain how incredible that was-after hours only are small group in this beautiful museum with all those masterpieces, plus you get to see the city lit up at night). Day 2 I did NCL’s Panoramic St. Petersburg and Leisure time- this was perfect! They do about 2 hours of visiting the major sites then 2 1/2 hours to wander on your own. I walked down by the water that goes by the Church on Spilled Blood, then to the 2 shopping malls (Passages and Gostiny Dvor)- it’s really the only excursion where you can wander, which was so fun! Then in the afternoon I did the Neva River cruise- the entertainment was noting great, but the boat ride provided a very cool view of the city.
Not my favorite, found it a bit boring- with the exception of Rock Church, which is beautiful & if you are fortunate enough (as we were) to stumble upon an orchestra practicing inside, you are in for an even bigger treat. We did the Hop on Hop off bus.
We did the NCL Hop on Hop Off bus. Wish we had more time here! Started with the boat cruise (included with Hop on Hop off), which was great. Then we went to Old Town, saw the changing of the guard at the palace, then grabbed lunch and got back on the hop on hop off where we hit only a few more stops because we ran out of time. Great city to explore!
