All 3 dining rooms and the buffet are just "OK." The food is repetitive, under seasoned and bland. Salads, dressings and cold desserts were always warm at the buffet.

Too many people on this ship. We could never get near the pool or hot tubs, and it was almost impossible to find a deck chair.
Entertainment

Burn the Floor and Million Dollar Quartet were very good. The other music and singers in various othervenues we visited were mediocre at best.

Ship tip
Unless you want to be constantly being bumped into by masses of people, and spend alot of time waiting in lines, I would advise you to book a smaller ship. Way too many people on board. It was almost impossible to do many activities or book an upgrade restaurant reservation. We finally stopped trying.
Really had little time to do anything before cruising. We did a short walking tour on our own. We booked an excursion they day we returned to port. The tour bus broke down.
Lots of construction going on all over the place. It was pretty messy and difficult to walk throughout the streets and buildings while touring and shopping.
Totally unimpressed with Nassau. We went over to Paradise Island for a while and to the Rum Distillery and did some shopping in Nassau. It is crowded, not the cleanest, and basically has way too many junk shops and vendors. I would never go back to this particular port.
I have to agree with you. The Getaway was not that great. Saying cruising isn’t for you, isn’t fair to you. I have sailed many times and agree with everything stated. I wrote my own review that is close to yours, but the haven’t posted it yet. The worst steward I have ever experienced on a cruise.
