Review summary

Cruise was terrible. This was my first cruise to the Caribbean and I specifically chose an itinerary that included two overnight stays in Caribbean islands. This is not what the cruise itinerary was when I got on the crew ship. It was falsely advertised on your website as having two overnights days which would allow more time on the islands.   If I can't trust what you're advertising on your website and what cruise I'm actually purchasing why would I book with you again. I am very unhappy about this. I wanted to explore the ports and the beaches on my vacation and not just stay on the ship the whole time. I would like to request a refund for my cruise. I only take one vacation a year and I am careful to choose what that is. I'm very upset about this.

Furthermore, when I arrived on board neither my shipboard credit or my Kirk was applied to my account. I spent the first two days on board chasing down through guest services my shipboard credit and my pick up perk promotion. When I'm on vacation I do not like to waste time with paperwork.  Again, if you don't know how to communicate with the cruise line in order to get the proper itineraries and package that was paid for applied to my account why would I book through you ever again rather than directly through the cruise line. Please issue me a refund for the cruise.

Regards,

Tanya hammad

The ship was fine, the activities were fine, the cabin was fine, but I did not go on this cruise to stay on the ship all day. I went on the cruise to explore the ports and stay on the beach which is what was advertised, two overnights days.

Wait.... You booked a 7 day cruise expecting two overnight stops out of the three stops. This isn't even logical. 48 hours docked? When would the ship travel. Hell it takes two day to get to USVI. It's obvious you don't like to "waste time with paperwork" or reading. No one going on a cruise ship oblivious of the actual itinerary. Oh wait. Maybe one. Why didn't you cancel when your revel docs came

You booked a cruise off of Ship Mate? Always book with a travel agent or the cruise lines direct object, I don't trust anything else like Shipmate or Travelocity, Expedia, etc.

No where on their site does it say they stay in Port overnight. This not an appropriate place for this kind of complaint. We have found if you book through a travel agent it isn't more expensive & they can usually find you extra on board credits & different promotions. Then if you have a problem... They handle it.

Also, you must have booked a different cruise, and then when you thought you had. I hope look at the itineraries for the past cruises, and it does not show any where a port that you'd stay in overnight...

I am sorry you had a bad experience, but you can't get refunds after you've been on the cruise.

You will not get an answer from this site. You will need to send your complaint to whoever booked your cruise. I am curious however, what islands did you think stayed overnight? I have never seen an overnight except in Bermuda and Nassau. Sorry it was awful for you, and couldn't make the best of your money spent and time off.
