Review summary

Our cruise was a wonderfully relaxing time.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  The variety of food was amazing.  I, personally, like the Free Style cruising.  We are pretty "low-key", "low maintenance" people so the size of the ship and the atmosphere of the ship was overwhelming but a nice experience.  The adult pool was way too small for the size of this ship.  The ship was very family/children friendly. The next cruise we gone on would probably be on a smaller ship as 4700 people and a crew of 1600 was just too much for us!  We did three shore excursions.  The first one we did was a kayaking, hike and snorkel excursion.  The guides were great but we snorkeled over a "dead" reef so there was not much to see.  The second was on the island of Tortola.  We were signed up for an alternate snorkel excursion but that was cancelled due to weather.  The alternate they gave us was wonderful.  This was over a "live" reef and we snorkeled for about an hour and then went to swim and snorkel on an island.  The crew was helpful and fun.  The third snorkel excursion was on Nassau.  The catamaran was 45 minutes late in picking us up!  The snorkel experience itself was good if you were not afraid of deep water and had some snorkel experience as there was no instructions given.  The equipment was good and they were concerned about how the equipment fit so that was nice.  But you were in about 20-30 feet of water and there were waves so you could not panic.  Overall, the cruise was wonderful although I would probably pick a cruise that was shorter so we would not have that initial two day trip to get to our destination.
