Bring a travel clock......cell didn't work........might have music on the TV and a few stations with more movies.........more handicapped tables available in the cafe......less announcements in the halls....annoying to hear all the time......

No cell service and purchasing internet minutes cost a fortune so beware you will have no access to your friends and family until you reach an island and even then it cost a fortune to text or call, better to purchase phone cards ahead of time. Bring a watch the only way to know what time it is.

Spa passes. It will make the days at sea seem like the best days on the ship. Also, O'Sheehan's pub is some of the best food and service on the ship. Ask your steward for extra pillows, and bring them up to the very top deck forward so you can lie down in the "loveseat loungers."

If you are driving to NY, be sure to check NCL website as they sometimes offer discounts for parking ie. with coupon we saved $ 80

We brought a digital clock for the stateroom. Inside rooms can be very dark. The clock gives just enough light so you can see when the lights are off.

Don't overpack. Select comfortable, elegant casual clothes and clothes suitable for swimming and lounging, and that will suffice.

Cagney's Steakhouse is amazing. Order the Porterhouse Steak, the best you'll ever have. Dining room and buffet food was very good. Pastry Chef made the best desserts we've ever had on a cruise. O'Sheehan's service was extremely slow, not the waiters fault. I think the kitchen was overwhelmed.
