Review summary

We've cruised many times before ... this was our first trip on NCL.  Leaving out of NYC was great.  Easy on / easy off the ship.  Parking right next to the terminal and reasonable considering it was NYC.  Ship was clean.  Many staff members were friendly and courteous.  Food was a big disappointment.  Meals weren't served timely, waters weren't filled regularly, variety of food options were disappointing.  Average food - had one great dinner BUT rest were just average.  Have had far better food on Carnival & Royal Caribbean.  Spa package was wonderful and worth the $$.  Entertainment was sparse on the ship.  The evening shows were great and well worth your time.  During the day there were very limited options for entertainment and we often found ourselves creating things to do on our own.  Other cruise lines have constant activities going .... not NCL.  Would definitely cruise again but would most likely go with a different cruise line.
