Overall we loved this cruise. The ports were great, people on ship very nice. Our big complaint is the embarkation location listed as Venice (trieste) with pictures of gondolas. Venice and Trieste are over 2 hours apart.

This cruise was amazing due to the ports, staff, food, and cabin. Greek isles is a must.

This itinerary was phenomenal. Wasn’t fond of Kotor was overall is was great

It was a great experience. Although the ship was small and dated, we were in a different port almost every day. It was a fantastic way to see Greece!

Norwegian Cruise Line does not provide passengers with their bills until they return home from the cruise, then, if there is a dispute, the passenger cannot talk to anyone about the dispute. My wife and I do not drink alcohol. Upon return home I opened the email bill to find charges for alcohol. I used NCL's online customer service form to dispute the charge. After two email exchanges in which we explained we did not drink alcohol, I was sent a "final response" with an unsigned receipt for the alcohol during a meal at the Japanese restaurant onboard. Everybody else at the grill-table were drinking while my wife had a cranberry juice and I had a water. I received no response from my last email asking the charge to be removed. There is no one I can talk to in person concerning this issue. It is not a large amount, but unless NCL repairs this issue, my wife and I will never cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line again.

Thoroughly enjoyed this transatlantic cruise! We travel on a budget and had a great time. Were careful not to do a lot of socializing, due to Covid, but made a few friends and enjoyed a romantic European vacation.

Can’t wait til my next cruise. I look forward to the next one. It was very relaxing.

Not too bad, but the lack of security staff to keep the kids in line kind of marred the experience for me and my family. It was my second cruise on the Gem and we did not have this problem last time. I would like to see a Laundry Room with reasonable costs. A port of call was cancelled before the ship departed. That was a scheduled half day visit, but being able to spend a full day on another Island instead was well worth it.

I think overall the staff did good, they are short of staff for sure. LM is one of the best voices I have heard and plays a mean Guitar .

Terrible cruise! I'll NEVER go with NCL again. There are so many choices, NCL just doesn't impress me and I was very disappointed and embarrassed.

Very pleased with The Gem. Just the right size. Great crew. The Garden Orchid restaurant was an unexpected surprise. Very good. Lots of movement in MDR Pacific. MDR Magenta much smoother. And — although the Gem does not have a dedicated Haven restaurant, they serve breakfast and lunch in the Haven courtyard / pool area. Very peaceful indeed. Was my first time in Haven — well worth the money.

Back in September 2019 we decided to book our first cruise for the following October. Turned out 2020 wasn’t the right year to be doing that. Took our future cruise credit and booked our second first cruise. Turned out early 2021 wasn’t the right time to be doing that. Took our future cruise credit and eventually booked our third first cruise which was this one. Finally we found the right time to be doing that. So, it was a long wait, an itinerary change replacing two ports, a second itinerary change completely eliminating a port, a drag of three straight sea days on the way home because of that eliminated port, and a mild case of the Covid a couple days after getting home but it was worth the wait, had a great time, and would absolutely do it again.

Too many sea days as one port was cancelled. Otherwise good cruise.

Excellent 10 night cruise out of NYC. Gem is a very nice ship. Due to be refurbished again in November. Would definitely recommend this ship.

The crew gave 💯 of pure excellent service. I had a wonderful time.

Wonderfully relaxing and enjoyed food entertainment, ect. Enjoyed Port of calls. Spa outstanding.
