Review summary

Ports were beautiful, food and drink were very good. However, NCL Gem has work ahead to improve customer service approach pre cruise, during cruise and post cruise.

Specialty restaurants were nice and felt elevated. Main dining room food was delicious and buffet was perfect for breakfast. Definitely recommend the Premium+ package if you enjoy wine.

Although there were servers and room attendants that provided wonderful service, unfortunately, there were many more employees/managers that had attitudes, negative customer service approach and were just rude. There seems to be a morale issue on this ship and impacting guest experience.

We disembarked 1 day early. Ship staff refused to help with luggage or made it seem like we were an inconvenience to them for our early departure.

Thanks for your review. I agree about flying to Greece. It’s so beautiful. Stayed in Mykonos, Santorini, saw Delos. Much to enjoy there. Wonderful to tour the Parthenon as well. The Greeks are very nice people too.
