This was our 50th cruise, there is a noticeable difference in service and entertainment since the return to sailing.

The West side Manhattan pier is usually super crowded, this time it went well.

Toilet closet is very small, strange design.

Ship tip

Bring instant coffee if you like strong coffee. Adding a little to buffet coffee is a good fix.

After registering to get onboard the last thing given to us was the cut of port.

I was just on the Gem and had a great time. Had a plumbing issue that was eventually resolved, and other than 2 NCL ships in port next to each other on disembarkation day was a complete disaster once I was off ship, but otherwise, was one of my top 10 cruises.
