Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room and buffet not up to NCL usual status but specialty restaurants were fabulous

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Plenty to do and cruise director kept things hopping.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Gem entertainers and their shows were fantastic. Other entertainers were sub-par

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All up to NCL's usual fantastic requirements. They have the friendliest team members in the business

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Starting to show it's age. Set for a re-fit in the near future

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Had an aft facing penthouse with a large balcony where I spent a lot of time. Everything was kept immaculately, Butler and Steward anticipated my needs. Room size very good, bathroom could have been a little larger, step over to the tub was quite high for an older adult.

Ship tip

Wait until after it goes through the re-fit

5 out of 5
Went to the ruins at Akritiri and it was stunning, also included a wine tasting.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

4 out of 5
Did hop on hop off bus and saw all the main attractions in Piraeus and Athens. Buses back to ship were few and far between

Mykonos, Greece

5 out of 5
Went to Delos and did the 3D tour which gave you a depiction if things in the third century BC - excellent.

Split, Croatia

5 out of 5
Loved the castle and visiting everything else in the walk around the town. Very easy walk from town to ship

Venice, Italy

4 out of 5
The hour long tender ride to land was hot, cramped, and tidiest. Way too many in town to see much, but did enjoy the gondola ride. We then went to the Moreno glass factory for a demonstration. Temperature was in the high 90s.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Was on a tour which was handled very nicely
