Review summary

All in all we had a great time. I found that a lot if the wait staff in the Buffet did understand english very well when you asked them for something so I had to track down a supervisor or Matre'D to get what was needed. The specialty restaurants were very good and had good service. I was a little disappointed that I didn't see my cabin Steward till 9pm on the 1st night. I feel he should had made quick introductions to each room prior to getting heavily involved with one guest for an extended time. After that he turned out to be very good.

It was adequate to 2 adults and 2 young children, but I have to say the pull out couch that the kids slept on was extremely uncomfortable. I know from personal experience.

Ship tip

If you get sea sick they have complimentary medicine at the front desk on deck 7. I didn't find out till after I spent $10.00 in the gift shop purchasing it.

We arrived to late to do anything with the little ones. So I was the only one that got off the ship to pick up a few necessities.

Glad you had a good time but being a little tough on your cabin steward..... you don't know the circumstances with that guest so it may have been justified spending extended time. There's a ton of things the steward is responsible for on turn over day so unless you sat in the hallway and micromanaged him I bet he was multi tasking while you were at lunch or muster or dinner or a show...... it's funny that you were critical of him saying hello at 9pm but he would've received criticism from that guest if whatever they were working on didn't get solved while he left to make quick introductions...... because you know the other 25 cabins he made a quick introduction would've led to more requests to eat up time. Poor steward can't win.
