Fun times on the ship but a bust when it came to the cancelled stops with very little in the way of compensation.

Mixed cruise experience, standout staff, cleanliness concerns, port issues, some enjoyable excursions.

Always enjoy NCL cruises. This one did not disappoint.

Too many children in the Haven, couldn't use the pool, kids were always rough-housing. Maintenance was constantly wiping up the floors. Kids took over the hottubs. We pay more money to be in the Haven, we enjoy the quiet, refined special area.

A relaxing vacation, even on days that were overcast. The staff was wonderful and the food was either high average or above average, w/the exception of the steak house.

There were a lot of things that could have been better. The food was mediocre, the bars were always packed (assuming with basically everybody having the drink package) and the ports didn't have much to do. Also not finding out that the on board credit we received when booking couldn't be used towards gratuities on the last day led to scrambling around the small shop to buy things we really didn't need so we used the money. This was my second cruise on this boat with a similar itinerary. I liked it the first time but this one was a mess.

We got sick with flu like symptoms on the last 2 days of the cruise. We had to seek medical attention for that when we got home. The disembarkation was frustrating and the process was ridiculous. Not what we were expecting from Priority Access. We had a great experience that was totally ruined by this process. We have to rethink Norwegian for the future.

The employees on the ship were good but they know the problems that management has given them and some show it. Quality of food is not the chef’s problem it’s the management. Get better product. Redesign the ship to accommodate all passengers so you don’t have crowds everywhere.

Great cruise, rough seas. Canned soda, bottled water and energy drinks not included in free drink package, but beer and all alcohol is... crazy. MSC Cruises includes all 3 in the drink package.

This was our first cruise, we heard from everyone on the cruise that the weather, and cancelations were not normal. Very frustrating that we paid as much as we did when half the ship was closed most the time and we didn't go to the places we were suppose to. We could even enjoy chairs on the ship because staff doesn't enforce no holding policies. Undecided if we would gave a cruise a chance again.

We had fun. Both of us came home sick. She got COVID and i don’t know what I have. I guess it’s inevitable when you have a party with 4000+ people. Going to do it again next year!

NCL remains my best choice for the moment, but I have done three this year and gradually NCL costs on the quality of the shows and the animation in general. It also cuts down on the quality and quantity and choice of meals. it also cuts waiter service at the swimming pool, bars and the performance hall. As for the Ncl escape I found it poorly designed, it lacks space in several places. But despite all that I am still ready to give them my first choice of company. If it had been my first I'm sure I would have loved it, but over the years I realize that you pay more for less. THANKS

Cruise was amazing, with the exception of the cancellation at Stirrup Cay Bahamas! The staff on the cruise was exceptional., the food was scrumptious and gourmet style. We also enjoyed working with our travel agent Dave Thompson.

Lied to about photo package. Had beverage package but cheap cruises never told Norwegian. Day 3 we finally got it worked out

Would have been so much better if smoking was contained

The Norwegian Escape was an amazing ship and we had the best time! We were not sure what to expect of being on a larger ship than our last cruise, but really ended up enjoying it. There are so many options and it really did not feel crowded (mostly) even though it was at full capacity. Highly recommend. I also want to acknowledge our travel agent, Sharon Browning. Sharon came highly recommended from my parents after she assisted them with an epic vacation to Scotland and Ireland. This was our first time not booking travel just on our own, and I feel like we were crazy not to use Sharon for all of our vacations! Just the perspective and knowledge of our options (and possible savings) saved us so much time, money, and frustration. We love working with Ms. Browning and are already working on booking our next BIG vacation to Europe with her.

Definitely not our best cruise by a long shot. We likely will go back to RCCL or MSC. Regular price gets you a nothing special trip with enough minor annoyances each day to make it feel like a stressful vacation which is not what we expect from a cruise. Everything is up sell now, so if you want the nice trip you used to get from NCL for the regular price, be advised that good service and hot food is not included in NCL's regular price anymore. We also don't like that NCL has done away with turndown/evening service, which is an example of not getting the little luxuries that made cruising a cut above the normal vacation. No towel animals or silly surprises that made you really feel cared for and made your cabin steward feel like a friend. We extra tip ahead of time on the first day when meeting the steward because we truly appreciate that we are going to be cared for by his hard work. Now NCL has created a culture of everyone doing the bare minimum for the same price as the great experiences we used to have. Also pretty shocking to hear employees complaining about their employer and their workload to the customers. This happened more than once in several locations. Sets a sour tone for sure.

Terrific customer service. The Haven is the way to cruise.

My only complaint is that when we were eating lunch, and the cruise director was soooo loud on the microphone. Needed to lower the volume
