Great cruise, rough seas. Canned soda, bottled water and energy drinks not included in free drink package, but beer and all alcohol is... crazy. MSC Cruises includes all 3 in the drink package.

JimOhio.... Thanks for the smart remark. My comment was that it seemed strange that I could get all the alcohol I wanted, but had to pay for bottled water. To pay an additional fee to get bottled water is crazy

Royal Caribbean also includes both canned and fountain soda with basic drink package. We found the drink packages lacking on NCL. Our teens could only get soda no matter what. We wish NCL had an upgraded non alcoholic package like on Royal where they can get mocktails, virgin pina coladas and fresh juice too.

The basic drink package does not cover all alcohol, it excludes top shelf liquors. You need the premium plus package for those as well as bottled water, energy drinks and Starbucks.

Glad you had a great trip. Fountain drink sodas are included, and we usually take one back to our cabin at night.

Thanks for sharing. Norwegian Cruise Line has several drink packages so each passenger can customize what plan or plans he or she wishes to buy to meet their needs. A little research on your part prior to the cruise would have revealed this.
