Don't expect to be able to see the entertainment unless you sit in the theater for at least an hour and half before the show starts, the venues are way to small for the population of the boat

Pay close attention to the descriptions of cabin you see on cruise critic etc. Our room was LOUD and when I asked for a switch I was told they were booked to capacity and the guest services guy actually said to me, well didn't you look before you booked to see if to was a quiet room??

Don't buy products in the Spa!

Don't buy the smaller cabins. Spend the extra to get enough space to turn around. Don't buy cruise lines excursions. The same thing can be obtained at the dock for half the cruise lines price. Don't spring for the upcharge for the specialty restaurants. The main Dining Rooms are excellent now.

Read as much of the history of the country you are going to visit and select the most important places you want to see as there is not enough time to see or do all of the things at the Port City. I would also advise them about being adventurous and select an alternative site seeing method.

Great ship - but it is large! So book your favorites (specialty dining times, shows, etc) either before your cruise our immediately upon boarding.

I would pack light and do laundry once mid week. It make the whole trip so much easier when you have so many fewer bags. Get out and explore the ship. There is so much to see and enjoy.

Be very comfortable with your travel mates because they will hear every sound coming from your bathroom! Pool area has lots of inviting deck chairs. Crew was professional & attentive.
