Review summary

I expected a very nice cruise line but was quickly disappointed, The best part of NCL is the majority of their employees, we met some wonderful people.

The food at the buffet was terrible, no flavor no variety, and every time you turned around the staff was saying you needed to pay more money, the ship was very crowded

I really did not like all the extra charges on the ship, even for decent coffee, nothing special, just a decent cup, the coffee they served to the masses was very low quality.

I wont use this cruise line again

There was not enough security to manage the teenagers at night

Cabin / Stateroom

Nothing special, but the bed was horrible the two twins were pushed together, and kept separating it was very hard to get a good night sleep

Ship tip

Don't expect to be able to see the entertainment unless you sit in the theater for at least an hour and half before the show starts, the venues are way to small for the population of the boat

I had no problem on the Epic. I do not like nor can I utilize a buffet as I am mobility impaired and use a scooter. Yes I'm one of those people who hogs elevator space and becomes a nuisance. I found that manhatten and taste were more than adequate with a changing menu. The staff was very considerate and the meals we excellent. I do not make a habit of the specialty restaurants but on my next cruise they were included in the package I found O'Sheehans excellent. One night it was all you can eat ribs. And guess what. That was at no charge. Any cruise is what you make of it.
