There is one thing that really bothers me about Norwegian cruise ships. The activities are mainly catered to North Americans. The games, quizzes, and menu are all geared towards them. The official language of the ship is English. The company should treat people from other countries better and offer more inclusive activities.

First time we sailed in Europe we were on costa ..not geared at all to English speakers we did not enjoy it at all (and we lived four years in Europe). Took us over 10 years to try cruising again and for us NCL hits the spot.

Don’t sail on a cruise ship operated by an American cruise line if you don’t want it to be l geared toward Americans. No different than those of us from the US sailing on an Italian, German, British, etc. cruise line wouldn’t expect it to cater to us.

We just got of msc world europe; ideal if you are an italian but we did not like any activity on this ship. We live in Europe and still prefer NCL! Pick a cruiseline that fits your needs.

Ummm, you think they can just change their crew and activities to accommodate everyone? English is the most spoken language in the world.
