The cruise was overall a good experience; however, it's 100% not enough time to visit each city. I'm sure there's another cruise that has a couple days at each port and that would have been preferred. The restaurants were pretty good overall, with the exception of the pool deck buffet. That food was not great and really little healthy options. The staff is very nice and helpful.
My largest complaint is the on-board doctor. I hurt myself during an excursion and needed medical attention. The doctor had HORRIBLE bedside manner, they did not accept my insurance and they billed me almost $400 for cleaning my wound with iodine and putting a bandage on it. Totally ridiculous, so I did not return for the dressing change.
Embarkation

Easy to do. Baggage takes a bit to get to the room, but not a big deal.

Food and Dining

The buffet/cafe had junk food and little to no healthy options. The restaurants had decent food overall and a pretty good wine list. The desserts were all VERY good.
Onboard Activities

The pool was terrible. Very small and the water was warm. We had to keep cool by using the pool shower every 20 minutes. Also, you need to update the flooring on the pool deck to something more textured. I (and other people I noticed) slipped several times on the wet deck and could have gotten really hurt. One boy literally face planted.
Entertainment
I didn't go to the on-board events
Children's Programs
We weren't traveling with children

Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.
Ship Quality

Everything was clean- my biggest complaint is the 15th deck with the pool. Your expectation on a cruise ship is the pool scene is great and this definitely wasn't. It felt old and outdated.
Cabin / Stateroom

We booked this room to have another bed to sleep on, but it was just a very uncomfortable couch. Room size is a little small, but I understand it's a cruise ship. K took very good care of us during our stay. He catered to all our needs.
Ship tip
Take out anything you want right away from your suitcase as it takes a while to get it when you get on the ship.
Sorry the ship wasn't completely to your liking. We liked it when we sailed it in 2015 but it obviously is older now. Perhaps, look into NCL's newer ships or better yet one of Celebrity's Edge class ships. Also, look at adding a pre or post stay with more time to see destinations of interest.
Thanks for your review. Monaco is one of my favourite places in the world, but due to the 2 hour journey each way from Cannes you don’t get to see it properly on any cruise line excursion from Cannes, we ended up booking a 4 day stay in Monaco based on how much we liked it after visiting on a cruise.
Glad you enjoyed most of it. Mainstream cruises rarely give you extended time in any port. Cruises are mainly for visiting multiple places while only unpacking once, getting an overview of the cities and a good way to decide which ones are worth returning to and exploring over several days.
