Review summary

Would not have taken this cruise if I knew it was so restricted. Norwegian advertised fully vaccinated cruise with freedom to act accordingly. Was not the case in reality.

Easy to get off the shop on our own. Not much value in the Haven disembarkation. Almost missed one excursion using the concierge. Too little capacity in the elevators.

We just got off this same cruise and felt that it was a very restrictive free cruise.. the weather was amazing, and at less than half capacity who could complain.

Welcome to our life in Europe. We feel safe with these regulations and not restricted. At least you get to travel and visit here! By the way all Cruise lines touring Europe have the same health procedures.

Not our experience. Nothing really a problem even though we had to wear masks. Haven priority was great. Sorry you had such a bad experience.

NCL still require guests to wear face masks indoors for European sailings, and there may be restrictions at some ports where you can only go on a ship excursion. This is down to regulations in those countries and NCL have been clear this is what you would have to do, it’s there under the Sail Safe section of the website and the FAQs, along with all info on testing. When I booked for next April I was advised to keep up to date with how things are evolving and they will issue more guidance closer to when we sail. If there’s anything else that they’re not making clear I’d certainly be interested in more info though.

What is "freedom to act accordingly"? The cruiselines have been transparent about their safety protocols, which are posted on their websites and also emailed to guests. Should be no surprises 😷

We where on the week before. Not sure what you mean by too many restrictions! Masks while walking inside but not once you where seated in bars and restaurants. Did wine tasting in Cagliari..superb and Pompeii tour was incredible. The mask wearing in Europe is commonplace and not regarded as restrictive just more an act of respect. Not sure how this was Norwegians fault as they where only acting on guidelines dictated by each country...
