This is our 13th cruise but our first with Norwegian. Other than some cabin issues we have a fabulous time. The food was great, the staff was wonderful, the shows were awesome, the casino was nice and everything on the ship was easy to find. I personal would do this cruise again. Hopefully all of Norwegian's ships do not have that capsule design bathroom set up. That would be a bummer.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was kept very clean and the pillows were really nice. We did have a few issues. The space at the foot of the bed was kind of tight and made it difficult for my husband to get around when I was sitting to do my makeup. The stool is only useful if it can be used. The worst was the toilet/shower/facebowl situation. I think that it is very unsanitary to have the sink outside of the toilet area. That is a ecoli situation waiting to happen. You have to touch the door handle to open it after using the toilet and before washing your hands. Also did anyone think of people with claustrophobia? I love the ship and I was going to plan another cruise with Nowegian for my extended family late 2020 or May 2021, but I know a few family members that can not be close up in the shower or that toilet room. Also some may no like seeing the shadow or image of someone using the toilet or shower. Even if the glass stop just above the hooks on the glass would relieve the fear of being closed in. Other than that, the balcony was roomy, the storage was great, and it was kept very clean.
Ship tip
Bring walkies to communicate with family on the ship and bring wet wipes for the bathroom.
The other NCL ships I've been on don't have the weird bathroom layout. The Epic was supposed to be a new class, notice there's no other ships in it. I think they realized their mistake.Give them another chance, I love NCL.
