I was a bit hesitant to cruise on such a large ship. I envisioned having to stand in long lines for everything, but it was the complete opposite. NCL logistics are terrific.

During the cruise we dined at the main dining rooms of Taste and Manhattan, Garden Café both in and out, O'Sheehan's, Shanghai, and the specialty restaurants of La Cucina and Le Bistro. Both times we dined at Taste for dinner, the food was good but the service was lacking. Breakfast at Taste was terrific. Dinner at Shanghai was speed service. Nothing personal although the food was good. Manhattan and the 2 specialty restaurants were excellent in both service and food.
Onboard Activities

We were off the ship all day, every day touring, but the ship seemed to have many options of things to do.

We attended 2-3 venues each evening, varying from the big production shows to lounge shows. All were excellent.

Was larger than it appeared on NCL website. The layout worked well for 2 females traveling together, as there were 2 mirrors with counter space, enabling us to get ready at the same time. The shower size was more than sufficient. Nice that the toilet, shower and sink were all separate. Only strange part was not much privacy in shower or toilet area. Curtain maybe should have been a little thicker. I had read about it in previous reviews.
Ship tip
Know what all the ship offers and familarize yourself before traveling. We were still finding new things on the last day!
We flew in and out of Barcelona. Only time spent was a driving tour on the bus that was offered after bags were dropped at the port. Nice surprise, and it kept us from waiting to board the ship.
Used tenders to get to shore, but everything went smoothly. Took NCL Antibes and old Market tour. Guide was terrible. Would suggest just having transportation provided and touring market or going to the beach on your own. Also heard the Train that toured around Cannes for 12 euro was very nice.
Very nice port. A long walk from the ship to the taxi and front of port, but there are benches along the way. Mostly inside though and there is wifi offered in the port.
This is always the part of cruising that I dread the most, but it was so smooth. Only part I would complain about is we purchased the transportation from ship to airport through NCL. Bags were waiting for us. Bus was assigned, and then we had to LOAD OUR OWN BAGS ON THE BUS. Needless to say it was a mess!
Glad to hear that you had a good time. We were in it in April. We read sooo many negative reviews about the ship we were worried that we had made a mistake, but it turned out to be one of our favorites.
