Fun, well-organized Med. cruise. Not great for pool time or lounging on the pool deck. But lots of high energy or entertaining participatory evening events. Karaoke, dueling pianos, dance parties. An assortment of venues for musical entertainment. Tremendous dining. And a lovely setting for dining options. Cabin is clean and the staff is mostly accommodating.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Great dining. Very high quality buffet. Main dining room ambiance and quality were perfect.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
People get up in the morning and put their towel on a pool chair to reserve it for the day. There are over 4000 guests and maybe 500 pool chairs. If you don't get up early, you won't be sitting by the pool. Half the chairs had just a towel on them but if you sat in one, watch out for an irate guest. We complained but the ship staff was not responsive. Not a big deal for me and my party, but if you are interested in pool time; don't choose Norwegian. Other cruise lines handle this better.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Not the best shows that I have seen on cruise ships but more than adequate. Karaoke and 80's party were great fun and the Epic's cruise staff made it a great party! Dueling pianos was also great fun. Participatory events were better than other cruise lines in my experience.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Most ship staff were superb. A couple of the shore excursion organizers were rather abrupt but probably frustrated with so many questions.
Ship Quality

Lots of lounges and venues for music and entertainment. Dining area, the atrium, shopping were beautifully appointed and accessible.
Cabin / Stateroom

Clean, adequate room. The clear doors to the toilet and shower feel a little exposed for someone from USA.
Ship tip
If you want to use the pool deck, find another cruise line. Same for evening shows. If you want fun, participatory evening events, excellent dining, well organized embarkation process, this cruise if for you
