Review summary

This cruise should be taken for the ports of call. The ship was mediocre at best. It was lacking in onboard entertainment unless you liked playing bingo.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It was quick and easy. There was enough staff to keep the processing moving at an efficient pace.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The wait staff wasn't always available and pleasant. The food was served at a moderate temperature instead of being, at least, warm.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
There were few onboard activities/games that included the guests. Most involved crew & staff.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The stage shows were acceptable and the DJ was amateur.

Children's Programs

No children traveling with me.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
There never seemed to be staff when needed and those that were available were unpleasant.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was easy to navigate and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was comfortable and clean. It was well maintained by our steward.

Ship tip

Take this cruise for the ports of call...not the ship.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
Barcelona was beautiful. The theatre district and free walking tours were amazing.

Naples, Italy

4 out of 5
Overcrowded and conjested. I look forward to having pizza there and it didn't disappoint.

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
I enjoyed the hop on hop off tour and the city was beyond beautiful.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

4 out of 5
Livorno wasn't easy to navigate. Having to take the city bus and train to Pisa was easy enough to do but transportation wasn't readily available unless planned in advance.

Cannes, France

5 out of 5
Simply beautiful. It was the most expensive port but expected in the south of France.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

5 out of 5
The city center is full of entertainment, food, and shopping. It is rich in culture and there's something for everyone to experience and enjoy.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The process was quick and easy.
